Background
Primary Dysmenorrhea, pain during menstruation without any pelvic disease, is a common complaint among the females. The purpose of this study is to define the effect of Connective Tissue Mobilisation and Kinesio-taping on Primary Dysmenorrhea.

Materials and method
A comparative study is conducted on 40 females in age 18–25 years. The participants are divided into two groups, twenty in Kinesio-taping group (group A) and twenty in Connective Tissue Mobilisation group (group B). In group A, the kinesio-tape is applied one day prior to menstruation for 3 days; while in group B, the connective tissue mobilisation is done one day prior to menstruation for 3 days. The intensity of dysmenorrhea is determined pre and post intervention, using the outcome measures NRS and VMD.

Results
The results of this study indicate that the severity of the menstrual pain and associated symptoms reduces on application of both techniques. Statistically, the T test is used to prove the effectiveness of Kinesio-taping and Connective Tissue Mobilisation. The P value in Unpaired T test i.e. comparing the post-treatment values of both groups for NRS is 0.7096 and for VMD is 0.0547, thus proving, the difference is not statistically significant.

Conclusion
The findings of this study are, both techniques are equally effective in treating the menstrual pain and pre-menstrual symptoms in females.
